Stephanie + Collin

First Methodist Church in Johnson City, TN was the site of Stephanie and Collin’s wedding on October 12, 2013. A reception at The Charles followed. A couple of unique things about their reception – their first dance was to the song “Star of the County Down,” an old Irish ballad sung from the point of view of a young man who dances to meet a charming lady; and the use of a Scottish Dirk to cut the cake. Check out these and other scenes from their special day.

Lindsey + David’s Wedding at Karlan Mansion

The day was drop dead gorgeous at the Karlan Mansion, in Ewing, VA, for Lindsey and David’s wedding on September 14. They are long time sweethearts and managed to maintain their affection for each other while embarking on medical residences at separate locations.

They are a lovely couple and we wish them much happiness and success. Enjoy their wedding day highlight.

Dianne + Joe – A Wedding at The Oaks Castle

What happens when two of the nicest and most charming people you’ll ever want to meet get married? For Dianne and Joe, storm clouds and rain completely disappeared for their outdoor wedding at the Oaks Castle on June 29, 2013! Seriously, it rained for several days prior to the wedding day, during rehearsal, and for days after the wedding – but not on their big day.

Most weddings have something unique or different and meaningful to the couple. Dianne and Joe chose The Unity Cross. From the website, The Unity Cross signifies the wedding covenant. It is a lasting reminder of the Bride and Groom coming together with their faith in Christ, beginning their life long journey as One.

The bold outer cross represents the Groom. He is the Strength and cover for his family and home, yet without his Bride, incomplete. The inner cross represents the Bride. Beautiful and multi-faceted, she brings her creative abilities and wisdom.

The couple bring their hearts and faith in Christ together, joining their pieces of the Unity Cross and demonstrating their commitment to each other. Thus completing the sculpture, and scripture ……. And The Two Shall Become One.
